Cathedral Peak is a good one to get to when you are in Santa Barbara. Worth the effort put in once you reach your destination. Don't forget the water and sunscreen like I did! It made for a very exhausting and long day. You should throw up some photos if you have any, this is a beautiful hike and it should be documented properly! Glad I stumbled upon all these Santa Barbara hiking blogs, just more motivation to book my vacation there with my family for this summer. Lost of hiking in our future! Planning on staying at the Sandman Inn (www.thesandmaninn.com). Budget friendly and close to a lot of great things to do in town, including hiking.

Totally agree with this review! I own one too and it's superb! Tried A TON of backpacks and this one is so well thought out with great pockets, and place to sunglasses away from rest of gear and nice outside pouch to keep wet, smelly clothing away from expensive electronics.

The bladder is super and its pocket is lined much better than other hydration packs.

This is the pack I reach for whenever I'm headed out and it's warm outside. Truly superb!

I love that hike! I used to hike it at least once per week. Another great hike in Santa Barbara is Rattlesnake.
